Nobody likes the number 13, especially when it comes to having to close a great restaurant in Colorado. The chain had to close 13 locations, and Denver's was one of them.

It was a restaurant that you may never even had heard of, but if you had, you probably had it on your list of places to check out. The chance to have a fun meal there has suddenly come and gone.

This was a place for big gatherings and big appetites; it will be a shame for Colorado to have to go without it.

Honestly, I am pretty disappointed that I only recently found out about this place, and now it's already shut down. I need to learn to do the things I want to, quicker. That's not to say my being a patron would have saved them from closure.

Italian Restaurant Chain Closes Colorado Location

It's not like Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill had closed one of their Colorado spots, this was the only single location in Colorado and it's now over. Buca di Beppo, in Broomfield at the Flatirons Marketplace has been closed by the company, to save money.

I had only heard about them at the beginning of 2024, as someone had mentioned on Facebook about the great time their family had had there for a birthday celebration. The place had five different rooms, depending on what kind of dinner experience you were there for.

  • The Wine Room - Lots of bottles of wines, and vines of grapes.
  • The Poster Room - Lots of classic posters; i.e. Sinatra, Rome, etc.
  • The Kitchen Room - Watch your meals being made.
  • The Cardinal Room - Complete with vestments hanging.
  • The Pope Room - You'll find a spinning head of the Pope in this room.

On July 31, 2024, it was announced that the parent company was closing 13 "underperforming" locations across the country. I immediately searched them on Google and found the dreaded red, "Permanently Closed" banner. "Already?" I said, out loud.

There's definitely not another place like them in Colorado.
