After 10 Great Years of Drinks, Food & Fun, Colorado Bar Throws in the Towel
It's a shame to see a favorite Old Town Fort Collins bar deciding to call it quits after such a great run, but as they say, "nothing lasts forever."
The City of Fort Collins recently did a great renovation of Linden in Old Town. Though the street is now more pedestrian-friendly, when it comes to this pub, they'll leave the great spot to whomever comes next.

214 Linden Street, in Old Town, has had many, many occupants throughout Fort Collins' history, including the "the name doesn't have to be complicated," Linden's. The latest pub/bar to call 214 Linden home, Blind Pig Pub will join the annals of "former" bars at the location.
BLIND PIG PUB IN OLD TOWN FORT COLLINS COLORADO CLOSING
On the bright side, Blind Pig won't be shutting its doors until the end of 2023; that gives those of us who haven't been there yet, time to visit them. For their longtime fans, it's most likely going to be hard to see them go.
ANOTHER VICTIM OF HIGHER RENT COSTS
According to the Coloradoan, Blind Pig is having to close due to their rent going up. That nice $3.5 million renovation that the city did to Linden, may have been a part of why.
DO YOU REMEMBER WALL STREET?
The Coloradoan lists some of the bars/pubs that have been at 214 Linden, including Wall Street. Wall Street was neat in the fact that the costs of their beers would "fluctuate" like the stock market; it was fun. Much like Blind Pig.
