Become a ‘Weekend Lumberjack’ at ‘The Man of the Cliff’ in Avon

It's billed as 'The burliest outdoor competition in Colorado.' Not surprising then, that I hadn't heard of it until its tenth year. 

They're looking to raise $25,000 for charity with the 10th annual 'Man of the Cliff' in Avon, Colorado on October 13, 2018. Forget about being 'man of the house'- this is a weekend of lumberjack games - for all strength and skill levels!

Grab your flannel and participate or just spectate!

Events include Axe Throw, Hammer Toss, Archery, Spear Throw, Speed Chop and more- maybe even a Keg Toss!  They'll have beer, food, and a concert!

Talk about getting 'out of your element' - I can imagine how I would look while attempting almost any of the listed events. But, you and I can show up as spectators for just $10- and then change our minds and register for given events on the day-of!

100% of the funds raised at Man of the Cliff will go to First Descents a non-profit organization that provides free, life-changing outdoor adventures for young adults impacted by cancer.
