When it comes to art, Loveland does seem to have that covered; mostly with sculptures. But this mural of a cow has captured the hearts of Downtown.

There's been a lot of development in the Downtown Loveland area over the last few years. Comet Chicken has come to town, a new brewery/restaurant has opened, and Tom Davis Saloon is rocking the corner of 5th and Cleveland. It's in this area that this new cow 'grazes.'

This shot of THE Tom Davis, inside Tom Davis Saloon is certainly eye-catching. If you've visited the bar, you'd have to agree in my thinking that Tom would absolutely love the new mural on the backside of the establishment named after him.

The Cleveland Station is the new development there at the corner of 5th Street and Cleveland in Downtown. With all the new businesses coming in, the project's developer felt that aN outdoor wall needed sprucing up. I have to agree. There used to a mural on the wall, but it went from "nice" to "creepy.'

It was around the beginning of June of 2022, that the Colorado Group reached out to artist Ines to commission a new mural for the wall. On June 24, 2022, Ines began the project, "ElsieTheCow." It was completed on July 1, just in time for 4th of July festivities.

People walking around Downtown Loveland have take a shine to Elsie, as she brightens up not only that wall, but all of Downtown. I know that I get a kick out her, that's for sure.

Thanks, Ines and Colorado Group for the great piece of art in Downtown.
