The official beginning of the spring season will occur with the Spring Equinox on March 30 at 3:37 a.m. According to TimeandDate.com the longest day of the year in Fort Collins will be on June 20. On this date, the sun will rise at 5:22 a.m. and the sun will set at 8:34 p.m. In total, we will have 15 hours and 4 minutes of daylight on June 20.

The latest sunset in Fort Collins will occur between June 24 through June 29 when the sun will set at 8:35 p.m. for five consecutive days.

Greeley will get a little less time with the sun on the longest day of the year with only 15 hours and 3 minutes of daylight. The sun will rise in Greeley on June 20 at 5:29 a.m. and will set on 8:32 p.m.
