There are going to be plenty of 4th of July celebrations happening across the Centennial State, this one sounds like a blast. They call it the 'Great American Picnic," and they make sure it lives up to it.

Sure, you can have inflatables, you can have fireworks, a beer garden, and live music, even a softball game; but when you add in a one-of-a-kind bike parade, you've set yourself apart. Get set for a big 'old fashioned' picnic to say, "Happy Birthday, America."

This particular 4th of July party sounds extra fun when you find out they'll be hosting their 17th annual Bike Parade as part of it. Sure, Tour de Fat is a bike parade, but a patriotic-themed one will be perfect on the 4th.

It's part of the 'Great American Picnic' happening in Broomfield, Colorado. You have to like the way that sounds, the "Great American Picnic;" it conjures up visions of people laughing, kids running around, apple pie, and a 'bobbing for apples' contest. There's no promise of pie or 'bobbing for apples,' but it still sounds great.
