Old Town Fort Collins Wraps Up 2025 With Holiday Lights and Shopping Sprees
The holidays in Colorado include family gatherings, cocktail parties, and a visit from Santa. In Old Town Fort Collins, the holidays include all those lights and, with 2025, the chance at weekly "shopping spree" prizes, just in time for Christmas.
Every year, Downtown Fort Collins is lit up with thousands and thousands of holiday lights, covering 22 block faces. They turn those lights on with the first Friday evening of November and keep them on through Valentine's Day of the following year. It's a Northern Colorado tradition to get to Downtown/Old Town at least once during the holidays to see the lights and shop/dine.

When the lights get turned on for the 2025-2026 season, the Old Town Spree will already be underway with Downtown Fort Collins. From November 1 through December 31, 2025, when we shop and/or dine in Old Town at any of the 57 participating restaurants/shops (from Akinz to The Wright Life) we'll get a special card with a code to enter online. Each week, they'll draw four winners of a $100 gift card to use Downtown.

You could get a bit of ice cream at Walrus, and turn that into $100 to dine at Ginger and Baker. You could find a great gift at The Cupboard and then have $100 to get yourself a great pair of boots at Hearne's. Why not grab a beer at Odell's and maybe win $100 to "go big" at The Silver Grill? On January 5, 2026, you could also be one of the five winners who'll each get a $250 Downtown Fort Collins gift card.
