Woman Ejected From Car in Crash Near Berthoud
A 40-year-old woman was transported to an area hospital in critical condition on Friday night (Jan. 10) after a single-vehicle crash in Berthoud.
A Larimer County Sheriff's Office press release states the incident occurred near the intersection of Colorado Highway 56 and Gateway Park Boulevard around 10:08 p.m.
The female driver and only occupant of the blue 1998 Jeep Cherokee that struck a median and power pole. The woman was ejected from the vehicle when it rolled into a field.
Roads in the area remained closed for about two hours.
The investigation is ongoing but investigators suspect drugs and/or alcohol as contributing factors.
