Windsor Lake is Closed For Algae Concerns

If you were planning a day on the lake in Windsor, you might want to look for another body of water to dip your body into.

According to the Town of Windsor, the lake is currently closed for a precautionary health advisory for suspected blue-green algae.

Town provided activities such as boat rentals, dog park, and concessions are closed while the water is being tested at state laboratories.

Those that are fishing at Windsor lake are asking to practice catch and release until the tests can be confirmed.
