If you haven't already been to a concert at The Mishawaka Amphitheater up the Poudre Canyon, then make sure you put it at the top of your summer bucket list. The Mishawaka Amphitheater, widely known by locals as "The Mish," is arguably the most iconic venue in Northern Colorado. While it does not have the capacity of Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, the riverside venue fits nearly one thousand patrons. With the roaring Cache Le Poudre River as your soundtrack and the towering mountains as your view, any concert at The Mishawaka is one to remember.

In addition to it being an amazing concert venue, the establishment is paired with The Mishawaka Inn, a unique restaurant with American food items sure to satisfy your hunger, all while you relax on a deck hanging over the beautiful river.

As far as performers go, The Mishawaka typically hosts upcoming artists who fit the mountain folk vibe of Northern Colorado. I recently saw Tenth Mountain Division at the Mishawaka and I have to say that it was one of the most fun experiences I have ever had as a Fort Collins resident. Having already spent the day climbing with my friends, we descended the mountain at sunset and got to the Mish just in time to grab a beer before the opener came on. Once Tenth Mountain Division got started, it was an absolute party! After missing concerts for most of 2020, going to the Mish was the most fun and unique welcome back to concerts that a person could ask for.

The Mish has dozens of concerts scheduled for the summer, and you can find the information on upcoming shows right here. There is no better way to spend a night in Northern Colorado than jamming out at the Mish, take my word for it. Get out there already!
