Skiing and riding are not cheap hobbies. That's why I gave up snowboarding when I moved to Fort Collins. Too far of a drive, too early in the morning and too pricey for being cold all day. I know that for many, the passion (and adrenaline) outweighs those deterrents, but not for me.

According to SmartAsset, the least-expensive one-day ticket is at Arapahoe (or A-Basin). Granted, this is data collected from the 2015-1026 season, and is only for one day, and not for season passes.

Here are the top three, but click on the image to see the full list from Smart Asset.

I will say... they forgot Eldora, which was always where I went because it was not only less populated, but cheaper. Right now, the 2018 passes are on sale for $229 for four days, which is less than $60 per day.

For the most recent season, according to Snowpak, Echo Mountain was $54/day for adults; Wolf Creek, $70; Powder Horn, $71; Loveland, $74; but had Eldora listed at $119 and A-Basin at $100.
