Which Northern Colorado Mattress Firm is Closing?

There are only a half dozen Mattress Firm's in Northern Colorado, but with the company closing 200 stores soon, one of our six is on the list.

Mattress Firm recently announced that they will be seeking bankruptcy protection, and will be closing up to 700 stores in their restructuring, starting with 200 right away.

The company has a reputation of having a location on just about every corner- definitely having locations in close proximity to one another, so it doesn't really come as a huge surprise that some would have to close. Loveland, for example, has two locations within a mile of each other on Eisenhower Boulevard. Neither of Loveland's locations is on the list. Greeley's location is also safe, for now.

One of the three Fort Collins locations will be closing- the one in the Harmony Marketplace. The other two, one in the Pavillion Shopping Center at Troutman and College, and the location on South College across from Raising Cane will remain open at this time.
