People keep mentioning the 'what must her parents be thinking?' side of things in reference to Miley Cyrus' performance at the VMA's.

Well, now we know what Miley's dad Billy Ray Cyrus is thinking.

This is what he told Entertainment Tonight.

"Of course I'll always be here for Miley. Can't wait to see her when she gets home," Billy Ray told ET's Nancy O'Dell exclusively. "She's still my little girl and I'm still her Dad regardless how this circus we call show business plays out. I love her unconditionally and that will never change."

In 2011, as Miley grew old enough to start making her own decisions, Billy Ray came out and said that he was worried for his daughters well being because of people she was spending time with.

In February 2011, he had did an emotional interview with GQ.

"I'm scared for her. She's got a lot of people around her that's putting her in a great deal of danger. I know she's 18, but I still feel like as her daddy I'd like to try to help," he said. "At least get her out of danger. I want to get her sheltered from the storm. Stop the insanity just for a minute."

Drawing vague comparisons to the doomed, self-destructive lives of Kurt Cobain, Michael Jackson and Anna Nicole Smith, he continued, "I'm concerned for Miley ... [Hannah Montana] destroyed my family."
