Union Station Lights Up For Paul McCartney Tribute This Weekend
Union Station is home to lots of awesome community events. From community markets to local art showcases, the historic train station is a gathering place for all Coloradans.
This weekend, the station will be home to an awesome art installation celebrating one of the music industry’s titans. Tonight, Saturday and Sunday, artists will project images and video highlighting the accomplishments of Paul McCartney.
From 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. each night, Union Station will come to life with its tribute to the star behind so many Beatles, Wings and solo hit songs.
Union Station is just down the street from Coors Field, where McCartney will take the stage on October 11 for his upcoming Got Back tour. Tickets will go on pre-sale on Tuesday, July 15, before opening up on Friday, July 18. To learn more about opportunities to win tickets, be sure to download the Retro 102.5 app.

This show will be the first time McCartney has played in Colorado in 15 years, since his record-breaking show in 2010. That show sold out the Pepsi Center, now known as Ball Arena.
In addition to his contributions to musical history, McCartney holds 32 No. 1 singles, is a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and holds a knighthood.
The projection mapping event at Union Station coincides with the Denver Month of Video, an annual celebration of experimental art. After checking out the Paul McCartney display, be sure to explore all of the projections around Downtown Denver, including the iconic D&F Clock Tower.
