U.S. Deputy Secretary of Education Visited Fort Collins School Thursday
U.S Deputy Secretary of Education, Mitchell "Mick" Zais, visited Early College Fort Collins on Thursday.
This comes just days before National School Choice Week (Jan. 26 - Feb.1) that highlights the need for students to have the freedom to pursue an education that best fits their individual needs, regardless of their family’s income or ZIP code.
The public charter school Early Colleges Fort Collins is very unique. It's the only high school in Northern Colorado where students can complete an associate's degree or a post-secondary certificate for free.
A whopping 70% of graduates leave school with an associate's degree or college-level certification.
