Famous Loveland, Colorado Sculptor Creates Trump Sculpture
George Lundeen is a legend in Loveland, a long-time sculptor who has lived and worked in Loveland since the mid-70s. He's sculpted thousands of pieces, from small to very large.
According to the Reporter-Herald, Lundeen and his team were commissioned to create a sculpture of Donald Trump, that will adorn a golf course in Florida. Some might see the sculpture and say, "the assassination attempt hit Trump, but I can't hit the fairway."
Lundeen did his post Masters graduate work at the Academia de Belle Arte in Florence, Italy, and was the 1978-1979 Artist in Residence at Texas A&M.
I live in Downtown Loveland, where the Lundeen Studio is; often times I'll walk by and see large sculptures they're working on, sitting out back. They had one, that was being crafted, that looked like it was going to be a man with a jetpack on; in the end, it was a bowhunter.

According the Reporter-Herald an art broker out of California came up with the idea of there being a sculpture of the scene on July 13, 2024, when Thomas Mathew Crooks shot at the then Presidential nominee, hitting him in the ear.
The sculpture is of the scene when Trump got up and held his fist up in defiance of the attempt. You can see the Lundeen team's sculpture form the Reporter-Herald here.
A bipartisan task force found that the Secret Service was largely at fault for the assassination attempt on Trump on July 13, 2024.
