I still remember the wet and heavy snow that piled-up at my house in October, like it was yesterday — probably because of the tree limbs that snapped under the weight of the accumulated snow and came crashing down in my yard. Corry Stanley won’t soon be forgetting the October storms, either. She and her husband were trapped in an airplane on the tarmac for eight hours when the storms rolled through New England and closed the Hartford airport. That’s one of my worst nightmares.
