Colorado is known for a lot of great things, including the Rocky Mountains, the Denver Broncos, the Colorado Rockies, the Denver Nuggets, and Beau Jo's Pizza to name but a few. Colorado is also known for "South Park."

Collider.com Releases Their Picks for the Top 10 South Park Episodes

I can understand when I hear some Coloradans say that they've never seen one episode of "South Park;" I didn't really become a fan until a girlfriend got me into it, as she was a big fan.

All these years later, I consider it one of the best things tom come from Colorado.

In 2024, the documentary "Casa Bonita, Mi Amor" was released, about the $40 million in renovations Matt Stone and Trey Parker put into the restaurant.

It was in the summer of 1997 that the world would be introduced to the elementary school group of kids (mostly boys) hanging around their town of South Park. A cutting-edge animated series created by two guys who met while attending CU Boulder.

Nearly 30 years later, everyone at least knows of Cartman, Stan, Kenny and Kyle (also Butters, Tolkien, Timmy..) and Matt Stone and Trey Parker are extremely rich and now own Casa Bonita.

The gang at Collider.com put together a list of their choice for the 10 "Must Watch" episodes that the series has put out. I thought we'd take a look a their list and see if I/we agree.

Whittling down a list of over 300 episodes to 10 I'm sure was no easy feat.

#10 -  "TSST."

This is the episode where Cartman's mother is trying to get him under control. She goes through several reality show nanny's, before getting "The Dog Whisperer" involved.

It is a classic episode, I'll agree. The way the crammed so much entertainment into a 30-minute program was great. And of, course, Cartman just gets to go back to his old self in the end.

Cartman going after the chicken in that clip reminds me of another good episode: "Food Porn." To me, any episode that features Randy, is going to be a winner.

#9 - "The Losing Edge"

It would be hard to call yourself a "South Park" fan and not love this one. Plus, not only does it feature Northern Colorado's Fort Collins, but also Randy being... Randy.

#8 - "Trapped in the Closet"

I can agree with Collider.com that "South Park" is great when it makes fun of real things, like Scientology, as in this episode, but I would instead have the episode about Mormonism at #8.

#7 - "Good Times With Weapons"

Maybe I don't like this one because of the Anime; have never been a big fan of Anime. Poor Butters, too. It's all fun and game until someone loses an eye, right?

I might have slid "The China Problem" into the #7 slot. It's just so silly (and wrong;) and when Butters keeps shooting guys in their "junk," I think it's just hysterical.

#6 - "The Cartoon Wars"

Collider.com likes this two-part episode because of its satirical value. I think I disliked it because it, in the end, kind of gives "Family Guy" more exposure; I'm not fan of "Family Guy" either, "South Park," but.

How about for #6, the "Over Logging" episode where the world's internet goes down. You get the "Great Dust Bowl" thing, and then in the end, Stan just resets the giant router. Classic.

#5 - "Mr. Hankey, The Christmas Poo"

I'm going to have to totally disagree with Collider.com on this one. Call me a prude, but Mr. Hankey is just awful.

How about, for #5, the one where Towlie (another annoying character) and Randy team up to make a marijuana strain?

#4 - Woodland Critter Christmas

Collider.com likes how "dark" this episode is. I guess it's tooo dark for me; I'm going to disagree.

For #4, I'd like to submit "Toilet Paper," where the kids "T.P." a house and things go to pot. There's the seen where Kyle's wanting to confess, so Cartman tries to kill him out on Stark's Pond:

#3 - "Scott Tenorman Must Die"

Oh, heck ya, I agree with this one. You do not want to mess with Cartman; he will show no mercy. None.

#2 - "Casa Bonita"

You can't have a list of the '10 Must-Watch' "South Park" episodes and not include "Casa Bonita"

My favorite seen is Butters restarting humanity in the junkyard.

#1 - "Make Love, Not Warcraft"

Collider.com ranks this one as one of the most-cherished episodes, and I'll agree that it's a gem.

The part where Randy is rushing around to find a computer to play on so he can give Stan the 'Sword of 1,000 Truths' is classic Randy and classic "South Park."

I'll add just one more, call it an "Honorable Mention:" the "Fishsticks" epsisode.
