Throwing Coins in the Air at Walmart is Welcomed

Pay attention if you hear someone yell "heads". Some would say "only at Walmart". I found it a little strange to be asked to throw change in the air, in a public place. There's also currently a national coin shortage. However, Walmart has done these umbrellas charity drives before. I found an old Reddit thread where an employee claimed they pulled $250+ from the umbrellas at the end of a week.
