The Lincoln Center Presents: IllStyle & Peace Productions on February 25
The multicultural, Philadelphia-based dance company, lllstyle & Peace Productions, is taking their show on the road, and will be making a stop at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins on February 25.
This one-of-a-kind performance features a mix of eclectic dance styles, including contemporary, West African, tap, ballet and old-school hip-hop, blended with some DJing and beatboxing, for an energetic show like no other. As a group, Illstyle & Peace Productions are committed to delivering positive and uplifting messages to the audiences that they perform for. Founder and director, Brandon “Peace” Albright, is constantly coming up with dynamic shows that aim to teach people about breaking free from the negative stereotypes that are typically associated with hip-hop, and to begin viewing this style of dance as an artistic means of expression. The members of the group carry a message of harmony and peace, and demonstrate that higher goals can be achieved with focus and perseverance. Albright himself, has danced for major recording artists such as Will Smith, LL Cool J, Run DMC, Boyz II Men, and the Beach Boys.
There are two showtimes for lllstyle & Peace Productions, one at 2 p.m. and another at 6 p.m. Tickets start at $16 and can be purchased online or at the Lincoln Center Box Office, located at 417 West Magnolia.
