The Best Cinnamon Roll In The World Can Be Found In Fort Collins
Ok so I haven’t actually been around the entire world in search of the best cinnamon roll but I have been to a lot of places and had a lot of cinnamon rolls and this blows everything else out of the water.
I’ve driven by it on countless occasions, walked by so many times but never stopped in, mostly because it was on a weekend and the line was out the door but now, I can officially say that I had the best cinnamon roll in the world at the Silver Grille in Fort Collins.
Right off the bat, I could tell this place was legit by the smells. Even before I stepped foot in the restaurant, as we were walking up to the restaurant I could smell the magical aroma of home style breakfast food with a little whiff of those famous cinnamon rolls in the background.
When we walked in, after a bit of a wait (about 15 minutes) we were seated promptly attended to and served our food.
I went with the "Old Towner" which is a big pile of scrambled eggs with ham, tomato, onion, bell pepper, salsa, cheddar, monterey jack. My goodness it was just as delicious as it looks.
Maxx, who was my brunch buddy ordered "The Classic" two eggs served soft as she likes them with bacon and hash browns and toast, oh and did I mention you get bottomless hash browns as Silver Grill, and they are really good.
We didn't want to get too crazy with the bottomless hash browns because for my first visit, as hungry as I was and I much as I thought the breakfast itself was absolutely phenomenal, I had to save room for the main event, the cinnamon roll.
Let me just say this, it lived up to all of the hype and went above and beyond. I'm going to just go ahead and call it, Silver Grill has the best cinnamon rolls in the world.
