Teen Identified in July 4 Shooting Death
The Larimer County Coroner's Office has released the identity of a teenager who died from a gunshot wound to his head on July 4th.
According to the Coloradoan, the coroner's office identified Cross J. Goodwin, 16, as the victim in the shooting that took place in the Bull Run Townhomes complex on Merganser Drive. They said his death was ruled a homicide.
In a news release this past Friday, Fort Collins police said that the investigation is ongoing. The Coloradoan said that the police do have another 16-year-old boy in custody on an unrelated matter but is a suspect in this shooting.
