With the Cameron Peak Fire growing up to nearly 60,000 acres over Labor Day weekend, smoke/ash has been prevalent in the area.
Cameron Peak Fire Media released a video on Sunday, September 7, of the Cameron Peak Fire smoke plume from above, as shot by the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control.
800 firefighters are working the fire, which currently stands at 4% containment.
