Does anyone remember the 1982 snowstorm?

Snow and bitter cold are headed our way.

Residents have spent all morning digging out their driveways and sidewalks only to realize they can't get their car to the main roads. Luckily, the City of Fort Collins has made a really kind decision.

I remember waking on Christmas Day last year to the winter wonderland that wasn't there the day before. That was excellent. Like Santa left a snowstorm in his wake.

Hail cannons are a real device that farmers use hoping to destroy hail, before it destroys their crop. It's up for debate as if it works, or not.

We need the rain in Northern Colorado, so this latest round of storms is much welcomed. However, thousands of earthworms are coming out of the ground and onto the sidewalks and roads, leading to a crazy earthworm apocalypse.

It has been a hot spring. We've cracked into the 80's a handful of times and heat to the 70's has become ho hum. Get ready for a change, because snow and rain are on the way.
