Matchbox 20 and the Goo Goo Dolls are touring together this summer, but they are  insisting that the tour is not a 90's nostalgia bill.

Sugar Ray's tour, with other acts who gained fame in the same decade, are doing the same thing but insisting that their tour is nothing but a 90's nostalgia tour.

Mark McGrath says he wants the band to play the hits, they way we remembered them, in that order. Or something like that.

It's refreshing to hear both sides. The Goo Goo Dolls aren't ready to stop making new material and say 'we know you loved us when Clinton was president'. Sugar Ray is.

Good. Both of them are free to promote their respective tours however they like.

The Under the Sun Tour has Sugar Ray hitting the road with Smash Mouth, the Gin Blossoms, Vertical Horizon and Fastball.

Should be a fun bill!
