Most women who have had to have a mastectomy face the choice, reconstruction with breast implants, or a flat chest with a large scar. Tattoo artists are helping both. Paul wrote about a tattoo artists helping to create very real-looking nipples. Then, I found this video from Pink Day at a tattoo studio devoted to making something beautiful to look at, where there was once only a scar and a reminder. There is also an incredible artist in San Diego doing amazing mastectomy bras and pretty things. I love that there are options for women to feel a new beauty after mastectomy.
