The main thing I learned is that I don't want to sit on the sideline of the championship game of my health. Even if it doesn't do me any good to watch what I eat, exercise and rest, I'm going to anyway, because if the other philosophy is sit, wait and hope I don't get sick, I'm out!
When it comes to the fight against breast cancer, not all pinks are equal. As we become more aware of the “pinkwashing” of America, we know that buying something in a shade of pink isn't necessarily doing anything to help the fight against breast cancer -- and some products can actually hinder it.
