Say Goodbye to One of Fort Collins’ Last Toy Stores
There are a million things you can buy for kids. Many of those things are junk. They are items that kids will never use or play with. Most parents and gift-givers prefer to find the toy or game that grabs a kid's attention. They want to give the stuffed animal that is so soft and cute that it will become the favorite in the pile. Giving a game that gets everyone involved and having fun is the best feeling. There are very few stores that provide a good selection of these types of kids' gifts. In Fort Collins, there is about to be one less.
One of the best places to find neat gifts, adorable plush creatures, new games, fidgets, and quality toys has announced that it will be closing. Learning Express Fort Collins, located in the Front Range Village shopping center, posted the news on their Facebook page. The announcement stated that they will be closing on December 31, 2023, as the owner heads into retirement.
They remind customers that if you have gift cards to Learning Express Fort Collins, be sure to use them. As far as all that inventory the announcement says the store's closure is the end of an era and it's "an opportunity to take advantage of this remarkable sale as a final chance to acquire exceptional products at significant savings."
Several years ago, my kids demanded "fidget spinners". These were a hot item when they first came out. It was hard to find a quality one. Learning Express in Fort Collins, not only had fidget spinners, but they also had fidget cubes and other similar gadgets that I could play with and compare before I made my purchase. The staff at Learning Express could always recommend a fun new family game. This store will be missed.
