Revisiting the Classic Movies – National Lampoon’s Vacation [VIDEO]

Can you see that little moose in our new terrarium?

When I did, my first instinct was to sing the 'Marty Moose' song from National Lampoon's Vacation.

My wife, who is not as old as I, looked at me like I was singing a song from another planet.

I was like, "It's the 'Marty Moose' song from Vacation." Blank stare.

Then she said, "You mean Christmas Vacation?"

"No."

"European Vacation?"

"No. The original. Vacation Vacation."

Blank stare.

"You haven't seen Vacation?"

Blank stare. "I think I've seen parts of it."

I love these opportunities. We've already convened over some real classics that, having been born in 1980, instead of 1974 like me, she didn't catch.

The Last Dragon. Revenge of the Nerds. Ghostbusters. 

Next on the list? Vacation! Which will naturally lead to Christmas Vacation! Oh the joy of the seasons!
