RETRO Listeners’ Top Three Favorite ‘Dog Movies’

On National Dog Day I asked out listeners what your favorite 'Dog Movie' is. We received a lot of responses, because, why not? Dogs are great!

On my recent 'Movie Monday,' I asked you, the RETRO 102.5 listeners 'What is your favorite 'Dog Movie?'

Thing is, with most 'Dog Movies' you can count on some tears. Those were the ones that raked in the most votes. Let's take a look:

#3 - WHERE THE RED FERN GROWS

The 1974 classic, based on the Wilson Rawls novel gets 6.9 out of 10 on IMDB

Dang if I could not find a decent trailer for this one.

#2 - MARLEY AND ME

Rotten Tomatoes only gives 'Marley and Me' 62%; but I've said it before, it's because sometimes Rotten Tomatoes has no heart.  Who DIDN'T love this movie from 2008?

#1 - HOMEWARD BOUND: THE INCREDIBLE JOURNEY

Holy milk bones, Batman. EVERYBODY loves this one. Even Rotten Tomatoes gives the 1993 gem 87%!
