After sharing the long list of restaurants we've lost in 2013, I was not at all thrilled by the possibility of adding the Red Table Cafe to it as well.  Luckily, with only days to go until its potential shutdown, Red Table has found a new home!

The Coloradoan reports the business will be moving into the Otter Box building at 331 S. Meldrum St., reopening in April under the new name Red Table Publick House.

The new Red Table Publick House will seat about 80, with additional seating on an outdoor patio. Lemieux said she plans to add 35 to 40 new employees to her current staff. The restaurant will be open from 7 a.m. to midnight, with a full dinner menu and a full bar.

So Red Table went from almost closing, to expanding in a big way.  It's so nice to share good news once in awhile!

Are you excited about Red Table's expansion?  Which other Fort Collins eateries do you think could use a change in venue?  Let us know in the comments!
