Princess Bride Screening in December Hosted by Cary Elwes
Mark your calendar for December 27 at Denver, Colorado's Paramount Theater. If you're a fan of the movie, you know who Westley is.

If you don't know, Westley was played by actor Cary Elwes, who has been in quite a few other cult classic movies like Twister, Days of Thunder, Robin Hood: Men In Tights and literally dozens of other things you've probably seen him in.
But Princess Bride is the one most people circle back to, and good news: He's going to be at the screening in Denver this December.
After a screening of the movie, he will lead a moderated discussion revealing all kinds of things about the movie you've probably never thought of, including a behind the scenes look at filming and some secrets nobody has ever heard.

He will also be doing meet and greets, with a photo opportunity and a signed copy of his book called, "As You Wish," all about the making of the Princess Bride.
Tickets are available online, but the 7 PM showing was so popular they added a second screening of the film at 1 PM on the same day.
There are also VIP packages available for the screenings, and I'm thinking given that the event is just two days after Christmas, makes sense that if anyone you know is a big fan of the film, this could be the gift that scores you all the kudos and accolades you deserve.

If you do get a chance to meet him, tell him his character in the original Twister movie was diabolical, and his Russ Wheeler character in Days of Thunder was one of the first movie villains I despised.
