In celebration of Earth Day, the Poudre River Public Library District will be hosting their first-ever Repair Cafe this Sunday, April 22 at the Old Town Library.

Rather than throwing things like a broken toaster or crooked bike wheel in the trash, bring them by the library where they can be restored for use. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 201 Peterson Street in Fort Collins, skilled experts will be on-site with tools and materials to help repair household items free of charge. Other examples of broken items that can be brought by are lamps, hair dryers, clothes, and toys, however, they are asking that guests limit themselves to bringing one item only. Guests will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. This drop-in event is a great way to make the most out of Earth Day and keep unnecessary items out of our landfill.
