November Is Adopt-A-Senior-Pet Month and there are many adorable, loving animals right in our area, looking for their fur-ever homes.

Oftentimes, people visiting shelters overlook older animals, automatically assuming they'll have health problems or won't be as playful as a new puppy or kitty. However, according to Petfinder.com, most senior pets are extremely adaptable, and a lot of the time, they've already been trained and probably know basic commands too. By adopting a senior pet, it's a rewarding experience all around, and you're saving that animal's life. Below are six older-aged animals, currently at the Larimer Humane Society, that are waiting to come home to a new family.
