NoCo Brewery Scores Official Beer at Red Rocks
The historic venue that has been host to some of the most memorable shows of all-time in the most unique and picturesque setting of all-time now has an official beer....and it's from Fort Collins.
Red Rocks Amphitheatre and New Belgium Brewing are partners in an exclusive brew called "Stage Rock Colorado Ale". According to the Coloradoan, it's a 4.7 percent ABV kolsch beer that will be available at the venue on draft and in 19-ounce cans. The money made from the sales of the beer won't all be going to New Belgium as a portion will be dedicated to Preserve the Rocks - a fund dedicated to education, restoration, and preservation around the amphitheatre.
This is multi-year deal that makes New Belgium the "official craft brewer" of Red Rocks Amphitheatre and that means testing of special brands and a higher number of craft beers at the venue.
According to the Coloradoan, the other Fort Collins brewer to partner with an outdoor venue is Odell Brewing. Their Mishawaka Ale has been an annual brew since 2016.
