If there's one food item folks in Colorado seem to have a "hankering" for its chicken tenders. A new place to the Northern Colorado area is on its way to Loveland.

They're easy to handle, they're easy to eat, they're tasty. There are lots of reasons to enjoy chicken tenders; who are these "new guys" coming to The Sweetheart City?

While Fort Collins seems to have a lot of chicken tender spots, Loveland could use a few more. Fort Collins has Raising Cane's, Dave's Hot Chicken, Comet Chicken, and Music City Hot Chicken, to name a few.

WHO IS THE NEW CHICKEN TENDERS SPOT COMING TO LOVELAND, COLORADO?

They are Slim Chickens.

A couple of buddies who grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas, started Slim Chickens in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 2003. One of the guys' mom came up with the name after a long list of names just didn't fit.

WILL SLIM CHICKENS IN LOVELAND HAVE A DRIVE-THRU?

When they were opening up their very first store, the two buddies were adamant that it needed to have a drive-thru; every Slim Chickens has one, to this day.

WHEN WILL SLIM CHICKENS IN LOVELAND BE OPENING?

As of October of 2023, the Loveland store is under review, but they shouldn't run into any issues and should be open by the summer of 2024.
