Colorado Now Has 3 Locations of a Great Wings Restaurant
They've been in Fort Collins, Colorado, since 2016, bringing great Nashville hot chicken and beer to hungry and thirsty Coloradans. They've had a location in Denver since 2021; and now they've announced a third spot, a second for their original hometown.
These folks have taken a great idea and made it work, in a big way. In a way, it's a great American dream story: Start small, work hard, and build on your success. The summer of 2024 brings more to their "success" story, for sure.
Music City Hot Chicken has been a local favorite around Fort Collins since it first opened near the corner of Prospect and College in 2016. The place is very laid-back: Just great hot chicken, some beers, some fun.
Serving crispy fried chicken at five different heat levels, Music City Hot Chicken calls their fans of theirs "Chicken Heads," I'm proud to be counted as one. I've always enjoyed hitting up that original spot, sitting at the counter with some chicken and a PBR.
Colorado's Music City Hot Chicken Announces New Fort Collins Location
Music City Hot Chicken has always had an eclectic vibe, that's why it makes perfect sense, to me, that they're going to be opening a spot in North Fort Collins. It's hard to put a finger on how, exactly, that North College Avenue area is different, but when you're there, you can tell: They do it different up there.
The Coloradoan reports that Music City Hot Chicken's second Fort Collins location will be just east of the intersection of North College and East Willox, near King Soopers. At one time, JAX, south of this new location, was the "end" of North College. Things are bustling in the area, today.
This new spot will give Music City a place to hold their fundraising events that the Prospect and College spot can't hold anymore.

Where will Music City Hot Chicken's fourth location be? Loveland? Greeley? Severance? We'll have to wait and see.
