Honoring Northern Colorado educators and helping you say thank you to an outstanding teacher in your life is why Teacher Tuesday was formed.

You can get your teacher nominated here.

This week's Teacher Tuesday got $50 to the Melting Pot, a bouquet of flowers from Earle's Flowers and Gifts, $25 in Schrader bucks, a pair of tickets to see Martina McBride at the 1st Bank Center, and a commemorative video courtesy of Star Painter Productions.

Congratulations to Sarah Milner Elementary (Loveland) and kindergarten teacher, Aspen Lindley.

Mrs. Lindley was nominated by Kelley Crespin whose daughter Nadine was a student of Mrs. Lindley. Kelley said, "We met Mrs. Lindley when she moved back to Colorado from another state a few years back and started teaching kindergarten at Sarah Milner Elementary. She is such an amazing teaching in truly caring for her students on a personal level making sure she makes each child feel special and conquering their goals for the end of the year. Mrs. Lindley makes learning fun for all her students and makes their first year in school the best experience she can. My daughter is now a second grader, but we still go and talk to Mrs. Lindley after school all the time I found a great person in her not only in school but also outside the classroom. Her caring personality can make anyone have a better day and also can make a person laugh no matter how down they are. My daughter Nadine says Mrs. Lindley will always be her favorite teacher. We are so happy to welcome her back to Colorado and make her feel apart of our community. I hope we can show Mrs. Lindley how to appreciated she is and how thankful we are to have her as a teacher here in Colorado."
