Lyric Cinema in Fort Collins, Colorado Announces Changes
The changes that The Lyric announced don't match up to that big change, when they closed the Mountain Avenue location and moved to North College; but that doesn't mean that they aren't worth talking about.
It's hard to say that you "really" grew up or live in Fort Collins, Colorado, if you've never seen a movie at The Lyric, whether at the current North College location or Downtown. The Lyric's team loves movies, music and fun, and it shows.
Change #1 at Lyric Cinema in Fort Collins
Games. Where there was once a merchandise area in the Lyric's lobby area, movie-goers will now find classic arcade games from the 80s. Ben Mozer, owner-operator of The Lyric, says that he'll be celebrating the 80s in another way, too:

I'm hoping that they put in Time Pilot; me and a buddy have always loved that one, but can't find it at many places at all, anymore.

Change #2 at Lyric Cinema in Fort Collins
Pizza. Beginning in March of 2025, movie-goers to The Lyric will find the old menu tossed out for a pizza-heavy menu:
We have struggled for the last 7 years to settle on a menu that's A.) good, B.) quick and easy to cook and C.) won't make a mess in a dark theater.
Don't worry, we'll have salads, gluten free options and vegan cheese, as well as the all popular chicken tenders and fries.

I think that these are great changes/additions to the legendary place; I can't wait to play Galaga and get some pie before a great film.
