America's Sweetheart City will be celebrating this weekend. Loveland will be holding their annual Fire & Ice Festival in downtown Loveland.

Traffic will see some effect from the Fire & Ice Festival, so it's always good to plan ahead.

Road Closures:

Yesterday parking has been closed on W. Railroad Ave between Fourth and Fifth Street along with traffic in that area.

Today (Thursday) Fourth Street from Garfield Avenue to Washington Avenue is closed, and Railroad Ave between Third and Fifth Street are closed. These roads will reopen at 8 p.m. on Monday.
Parking for the Loveland Fire & Ice Festival will be available in downtown, but parking for free downtown is limited and will be first come, first serve. Other options are Bill Reed Middle School, 370 W 4th St, Loveland; Civic Center Park; E. Fourth Street and North Adams; Hatfield Chilson Recreation,700 E. Fourth Street; Centennial Park, 977 W. First Street; Fairgrounds Park, 700 S. Railroad Avenue; and Barnes Softball Complex, 405 S Cleveland Ave.

If you want to take the hassle out of parking downtown, the Loveland Fire & Ice Festival has teamed with COLT to launch the Ice to Ice Bus. You can park at the Promenade Shops at Centerra and go from the ice rink to downtown. It is free for those over 90 and under five; $.50 for ages 6-18; $1.25 for 19-59; and $.60 for 60-90.
