Loveland, Colorado Getting First ‘Urban Hot Pot’ Restaurant
A popular trend in Colorado restaurants is "hot pot," and one is coming to a corner in Downtown Loveland that has been dormant for two years.

I found out that hot pot, is also known as "steamboat;" I think it would be great to name a hot pot restaurant, "Loveland Steamboat." That would confuse people enough to get them in the door.
What is this Urban Hot Spot, thought?
Origins Wine Bar & Wood Fired Pizza had more than pizza on the menu. I had my first taste of bone marrow one night, there.
Origins Wine Bar & Wood Fired Pizza existed on the northeast corner of Lincoln Avenue and 5th Street in Downtown Loveland for about eight years. It was a sad day when they announced that the pandemic, and finding employees afterward, had forced them to close.

That corner is a great location for any restaurant/bar; thousands of cars pass by every day. The cost of leasing that piece of property, seems to have been the issue in getting a new restaurant in there.

Now, it looks like somebody is ready to take on the challenge, with hot pot. In mid-April of 2025 a sign appeared out of what used to be Origins, announcing that "Urban Hot Pot" was coming soon.
Bizpedia.com lists Quanyou Yu as the Registered Agent and contact for the restaurant, who may or may not be the same Quanyou Yu that has a few restaurants in Cheyenne.
I did find out that this Urban Hot Pot is not associated the few Urban Hot Pot restaurants on the east coast.
