Professionals within the beer industry put together a list of just 10 craft breweries in America that stand out, and one in Colorado made that list.

With all the great breweries that the state has, this is high praise, indeed.

Have you heard of them?

One Colorado Brewery Makes List of 10 Recommended Across the Country

The team at Punch, dedicated to drinking and the drinking culture, gathered top brewers, beer writers and buyers to weigh in on breweries that we should know about in 2024.

Punch states that while things have cooled for the craft beer industry, especially since the pandemic, things are definitely still strong. That's good news for brewers in Colorado and those Coloradans that enjoy a tasty craft beer.

One way of seeing how well-known a place is, is by how many Facebook followers they have. For example, Great Divide Brewing has over 60,000 followers; Lady Justice Brewing sits at about 6,000, even though they've been around since 2016.

Lady Justice is owned and run by a married couple, Betsy Lay and her wife, Allison Wisneski, along with two other women. The Englewood brewery's mission is to make great beer and make a better world, with portions of the profits going towards:

...nonprofits and community partners that support and empower women, girls, and nonbinary people in the state of Colorado.

From Punch, about Lady Justice Brewing:

It doesn’t hurt that their intentional taproom-as-community-gathering-place also serves up some outstanding beer. Lady Justice is where to head to find styles you won’t find many other places, done right. Think ESBs and Scottish ales, alongside crowd-pleasers like fruited lagers and hazy pale ales.
