Kevin Costner’s Latest Hit Movie Is Looking For Extras In Colorado
Coloradans have the chance to experience Hollywood, and be a part of a Hollywood legend's projects.
Kevin Costner, famous for many roles, including the chiseled and grumpy John Dutton on "Yellowstone," is bringing a production team to Colorado and they'll need extras.
If chosen you could get around $200 and be a part of what could become cinematic history, if this big project turns out like Costner hopes.
I think this is great; this isn't just "some movie" that's being filmed in Colorado that nobody's going to see, this is a Kevin Costner project and is bound to live forever. It's success is almost guaranteed, especially with the success of "Yellowstone."
Kevin Costner's "Horizon: An American Saga" Coming to Colorado to Shoot
In mid-May of 2024, nearly 70 Colorado residents will be a part of shooting footage for the third instalment of the film in Durango. If you have the time, a trip to Durango to be in a Kevin Costner movie sounds like a blast, to me.
According to the Durango Herald, if selected, extras will get paid $35 to get costume-fitted on May 11 or May 14, and will be paid $150 for the day of shooting on May 15, 2024. There'll be free catered food and overtime pay if the day exceeds 12 hours.
Who Can Be an Extra in the Movie?
- Men/Women, all ethnicities.
- Minors, 13+.
