Denver Broncos Rookie QB Bo Nix Makes Franchise History
Only five games into the 2024 NFL season and our Denver Broncos are finally relevant again. We have our new rookie quarterback, Bo Nix, to thank for it. This kid added his name to the Broncos history books again during yesterday's win...
Pat Surtain II And Bo Nix Make Denver Broncos History
After a rough start, and another rough game last week against the New York Jets (although a win is a win!), our young Denver Broncos QB1 is making some noise across the entire league. People are definitely talking about our Denver Broncos.
Yes, the record-setting 100-yard touchdown by Pat Surtain II in yesterday's beatdown of the hated Las Vegas Raiders was incredible and is officially the second-longest interception returned for a touchdown in history. That's not the history made yesterday...
Denver Broncos Beat Las Vegas Raiders and Snap Losing Streak
For the first time since December of 2019, our beloved Denver Broncos were able to beat the incredibly annoying Las Vegas Raiders in a big way at Empower Field at Mile High this past weekend.
With that win, our young quarterback became the very first Broncos rookie QB in the team's history to win three consecutive games. Not even the great John Elway was able to accomplish that in his rookie season back in 1983.
Not only did Bo help his team to victory by throwing 2 touchdowns and scoring one himself, but he also showed that he's extremely comfortable with his role as fans saw him get into a heated sideline conversation with Broncos Head Coach Sean Payton, as seen below...
Video: Denver Broncos' Bo Nix Yells At Sean Payton
You may remember Payton giving the business to former QB Russell Wilson last season, and Russ just standing there and taking it... Bo's passion for this team shined through as he barked back at the big dog after getting an earful for flipping a called play. All the best QBs move stuff around as needed... It's what sets them apart from the rest.
As a Broncos fan, it's a relief to see how Bo has progressed this season and see the fire and passion he possesses in his role as the team's leader. Have we finally found our guy? We're sure hoping so. Congrats on the record, Bo, and go Broncos!
