Fifth Safest Town in Colorado: Cherry Hills Village
Cherry Hills Village is a suburb directly south of Denver, and has a total population of 6,400 people.

However, there is quite a steep price for living here. According to bestplaces.net, the average house in Cherry Hills Village is $2,706,800, which is 700.6% higher than the national average.
Fourth Safest Town in Colorado: Severance
Taking the fourth spot is Severance, which sits directly to the east of Fort Collins and Timnath. It has a total population of 12,489, and is projected to continue to grow considerably as the years roll on.
Overall, Severance has an average total crime rate that sits 77% lower than the national average.
It also is much more affordable than Cherry Hills Village, with the average home costing $522,300. While that falls right in line with Colorado standards, it still is 54.5% higher than the national average.
Third Safest Town in Colorado: Milliken
Milliken is a town in Weld County that’s southeast of Loveland, and has a total population of 9,813.

It is also extremely affordable as well, with the average home going for 290,300, which is 14.1% less than the national average.
