It's a list that has already started to grow in 2024, and we're continuing to lose some amazing local and national businesses way too rapidly. Schmitt Music Closing Colorado Location In Spring 2024

After over 35 years in Colorado, Schmitt Music has announced its plans to close its only location in the state next month. On its official Facebook page, it says:

We are saddened to announce that Schmitt Music will be leaving the Denver area in Spring 2024. We have greatly enjoyed being a part of this community, and value the opportunities we have had to support teacher recitals and in-store concerts. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives for over 35 years.
Betsy Johnson, who's the local Colorado store manager, also published this video thanking its long-standing loyal clients as well as the local community in which they served for the better part of four decades.

Located at 155 W. Hampden Avenue in Englewood, Schmitt's will be having a store closing sale from February 8th through March 17th, as they attempt to liquidate all remaining local inventory. Thank you Schmitt Music for being a part of so many historic musical events across Colorado for so many years. You will be missed.
