From Colorado Springs to the NBA
Clifford was named the Colorado Gatorade Player of the Year during his senior year of high school at the Vanguard School. Initially, he committed to Colorado and played at the school for three seasons.
Then he decided to transfer to CSU and quickly became a program star.

According to his NBA page, during his fifth year playing college hoops he averaged 18.9 points, 9.6 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.6 steals in 35.4 minutes per game.

Clifford helped lead the CSU Rams to a massive upset in the NCAA tournament matchup against Memphis.
