Are Costco Stores in Colorado Adding a New Food Item to the Food Court?

Costco is one of the best stores when it comes to listening to its customers. When something is working, they typically change it, and when something is in demand, they will usually look at adding it. They are constantly evolving, and some changes are greeted with happiness and some lead to disappointment, but they aren't afraid to try new things. One of the most popular parts of Costco is the food court, where the food is affordable and delicious. The popular store chain isn't new to adding and removing items from the menu. Costco is set to introduce a new food item to the food court once again, and many are excited for this addition to the menu. 

Costco Adding New Food Item to Colorado Food Courts

Chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches have been on the rise across America over the last few years. There is a reason that many Raising Cane's are popping up, and customers are lining up around the block to get chicken tenders. Costco has taken notice and, being the smart company they are, has decided to get in on the chicken craze and will be adding chicken strips to the food court menu. They have been offering them already in select Chicago Costco stores, and it looks like they could be coming to Colorado soon as well. 

Chicken Strips at Colorado Costco Food Courts

The chicken tender option in the food court will be available for $6.99. It will include five breaded chicken strips with a sauce that is similar to sweet honey mustard. It is said that the strips are a good size and should make for a tasty choice for customers who choose them. The chicken strips will also offer a slightly healthier choice than the popular hot dog and drink combo, as well as the slices of pizza that are so popular. Costco has been expanding its food court menu over the last couple of years, most recently adding a caramel brownie sundae near the beginning of the year, and also made some changes by deciding to offer bottled water with their hotdog combo instead of sodas.

There is no timeline on when the chicken strips will be made available nationwide, but once on the menu, it is expected that the demand will be high to find out just exactly how good they are, and as many know, Costco rarely disappoints.
