One of my first country concerts was seeing Kenny Chesney. I figured that since Kenny Chesney is the leader of No Shoes Nation, it would be ideal to wear flip-flops to a concert.
That would have been okay if I wasn't in the pit.
Not only did my feet hurt from standing on flip-flops all day. My toes and feet were destroyed because they were getting stepped on my cowboy boots and heels.
It was my fault. I don't think I have worn flip-flops in any setting since.
