Through the years, there have been many doctors who have graced television screens. There have been medical shows for years, and shows that have had characters who are doctors as their profession. Some shows that instantly jump out are 'Grey's Anatomy', which is still running, 'House', 'Scrubs', and 'ER ', to name a few. Many of these shows have had iconic moments and iconic doctors as well. Odds are, you have a favorite that sticks out more than most. When it comes to fictional doctors on television, which is Colorado's favorite, and which one does America like the most?

'Grey's Anatomy' recently wrapped up its 22nd season and has already been confirmed for a 23rd this fall. Many have stated that the best doctors are gone, like Derek Sheppard, Christina Yang, and Mark Sloan, to name a few. A recent study released by weisspaarz.com revealed each state's favorite fictional doctor. The third most popular fictional doctor is Victor Frankenstein, which four states stated was their favorite. The second most popular doctor is Dr. Watson from 'Sherlock Holmes', and five states chose him. America and Colorado have agreed on the best fictional doctor, and the choice is a tad shocking.

Colorado's favorite fictional doctor, and America's, is actually a cartoon. Seven states agree, with Colorado being one of them, that Dr. Nick from 'The Simpsons' is the best TV doctor of all time. This is surprising for a character that has a small role, although he has been around for many years and even has a catchphrase. Anytime someone walks into a crowded room and says the words, 'Hi everybody', most will know to respond 'Hi Dr. Nick'. With how popular medical shows are, it is a little comical to see a cartoon doctor who isn't even good at his job be the most popular in the country.
